If You Are A Landholding Farmer Family And You Have Not Registered For The PM-KISAN Scheme Yet, You Can Apply Online Through The Official Website Or Through A Common Service Centre (Csc).

To Apply Online, You Need To Follow These Steps:

• Visit The Official Website Of PM-KISAN @pmkisan.gov.in Or Download The PM KISAN Mobile App.
• On The Homepage, Click On The ‘Framers Corner’ Tab And Select ‘New Farmer Registration’ Option.
• Enter Your Aadhaar Number And Captcha Code And Click On ‘click Here To Continue’.
• Fill In Your Personal Details Such As Name, Gender, Date Of Birth, Address Etc.
• Fill In Your Land Details Such As State, District, Block, Village, Land Area Etc.
• Fill In Your Bank Details Such As Account Number And Ifsc Code.
• Upload Your Aadhaar Card And Land Documents As Proof.
• Submit Your Application And Note Down Your Registration Number For Future Reference.

You Can Also Visit A Nearby Csc And Submit Your Application Form Along With Your Aadhaar Card And Land Documents. The Csc Operator Will Verify Your Details And Register You For The Scheme.

What Are The Eligibility Criteria For The PM-KISAN Scheme?

To Be Eligible For The PM-KISAN Scheme, You Need To Meet These Criteria:

• You Must Be A Citizen Of India.
• You Must Belong To A Landholding Farmer Family That Owns Cultivable Land As Per Land Records Of The Concerned State Or Union Territory.
• You Must Not Fall Under Any Of These Exclusion Categories:
  • Institutional Landholders
  • Farmer Families Holding Constitutional Posts
  • Serving Or Retired Officers And Employees Of Central Or State Government Ministries Or Offices
  • Serving Or Retired Officers And Employees Of Public Sector Undertakings Or Autonomous Bodies
  • Serving Or Retired Professionals Such As Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants Etc.
  • Income Tax Payers In The Last Assessment Year

• You Must Have Your Aadhaar Number Seeded With Your Bank Account And Your Land Records. Aadhaar Seeding Is Mandatory For Receiving The PM-KISAN Benefits From December 1, 2019.
• States And Union Territories Such As Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam And Meghalaya Have Been Given Relaxation From This Requirement Till March 31, 2021 Due To Low Aadhaar Penetration.

If You Belong To Any Of These Categories, You Cannot Apply For The PM-KISAN Scheme.

If You Have Received The Benefits By Mistake Or Due To Wrong Data Entry, You Can Voluntarily Surrender Them And Get An Appreciation Certificate From The Government.

How To Voluntarily Surrender The PM-KISAN Benefits?

Some Farmers May Have Received The PM-KISAN Benefits By Mistake Or Due To Incorrect Data Entry. These Farmers May Not Be Eligible For The Scheme As Per The Exclusion Criteria.

Such Farmers Can Voluntarily Surrender Their Benefits And Obtain An Appreciation Certificate From The Government. This Will Help In Ensuring That Only The Deserving Farmers Get The Income Support.

To Voluntary Surrender The PM-KISAN Benefits, You Need To Follow These Steps:

• Visit The Official Website Of PM-KISAN @pmkisan.gov.in Or Download The PM KISAN Mobile App.
• On The Homepage, Scroll Down And Click On The ‘Voluntary Surrender Of PM-KISAN Benefits’ Tab.
• Enter Your Registration Number, Captcha Code And Click On ‘get Otp’. (Otp Will Be Sent To Your Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number.)
• Once You Enter Otp, It Will Display The Total Installment Received By You.
• Click ‘yes’ On ‘Do You Wish To Surrender Your PM KISAN Benefit’ And Enter Otp Again.
• Your Account Will No Longer Receive Benefits Once You Click On Yes.

Note: That This Is Not A Refund Of Benefits, It Is Surrendering For Further Benefits. After Surrendering From The PM-KISAN Scheme, You Will Not Be Able To Receive Any Further PM-KISAN Cash Benefits.
